Hiking New Zealand Tours
How much money should I bring to New Zealand?

I plan to travel for 4 weeks in New Zealand in February. I intend to spend more nights in shelters, but we recommend a couple of nights in hotels. As food goes, I'd like a combination fast food / grocery shopping and sit to restaurants. I do not think that the major tours May expensive, but renting a car for up to one week and to provide many hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing. How much money should I bring?

If you choose wisely Youth Dinan, NZ $ 30 a night is a possibility. Fuel: NZ $ 1.58 per gallon regular, and most rental cars here is 100 km more than 8 liters. Make Tour around the country will be about 3000 miles. If cooking, food and drink is approximately NZ $ 10 per day, if you buy things beautiful and rare bottle of wine. restaurant dinners will take place between 15 and 40 dollars, depending on your choice. If traveling by bus, like Atomic Shuttles, NZ $ 10 each trip of 100 km of return is likely.
